There are different types of bikini such as the push up bikini top, the honeycomb top, the bandeau, the triangle top, the non-padded, the padded, the underwired and the non-underwired.

Depending on our constitution and depending on the shape of our breasts, we are going to choose one or the other; we are going to choose the one that best suits us.

We care a lot about the size in a bikini top

I would really pay attention to the exact size of the bikini top as a well-fitted bikini top can be much more important than a certain colour or shape. This is especially important for underwired or bikini tops with a specific preformed shape. And not so much in triangle, bandeau or honeycomb bikini tops.

Here is my case. I usually wear a 95D. In the case of the triangle it will depend on whether I want it to cover or not. A 95c works perfectly well for me as well as a 95b or even a 90c. It depends on whether I want more or less coverage. The same goes for the bandeau; a 95B is perfect for me. The thing is different if the model has a hoop; the hoop goes with the specific size, so you can’t take it for granted. Underwired is seen immediately when it’s too much and it’s also flabby when it’s missing.

Top honeycomb has been rescued from the 70s

The honeycomb bikini top has been seen a lot in department stores this year.

But what does the honeycomb fabric look like and what exactly is the function of the honeycomb bikini top?

It is a gathered fabric with super stretch yarns that gives a thicker look as the fabric has pleats and elastic yarns that provides elasticity and therefore a fairly strong support as the fabric is doubled and reinforced. It is very useful for both dresses and tops.

An important thing about the honeycomb bikini top is that it gives the bikini top a higher relief. Smaller bikini bottoms will therefore benefit from the optical effect it provides. And slightly larger breasts will find a greater reinforcement to lift them up.

The white bikini top and other combinations

We will also find various colours of bikini tops. For example, the black bikini top and the white bikini top are among the most popular in the summer. The colour will depend on your preferences but it is true that there are colours that suit better one type of skin to another. For example, military green, aubergine and brown tones tend to be more popular in Spain because they flatter the olive green tone of our skin.

The white bikini top tends to look better on very pale Caucasian skins or on skins that tend to tan a lot and also on black skins, as the contrast or similarity has a certain attraction. On typical Spanish skins you will have to wait until it tans a little for it to be flattering.

The black bikini top accepts all skin colours. The colour black catches all types of light, so it accepts all skin colours. And we already know that it will be elegant, that it hides the voluptuousness of the shapes.

Yellow is a colour that has made a strong and bold entrance in the last seasons. And we like many of the proposals that we are seeing with this colour. We believe that it also flatters dark and pale tones.

Coral is another colour that usually accepts many skin tones and brings a lot of vitality and joy to the face, giving it a healthy look.

But the king of colours in summer is blue: blue, turquoise, navy blue, sky blue… Blue is perhaps the most difficult to match with your skin tone. I think that more than looking at the colour make sure that you feel comfortable with that colour. And think about…this season I feel blue, what does this colour transmit to me, what makes it radiate around me? That’s what I want to transmit. Although we should question this in each piece since the feeling that it transmits to us is going to become a shockwave around us.

Let’s see one of the most important tips to keep in mind with a bikini top

Another point to keep in mind with our bikini top is the amount of fabric we have under and around our armpits and back. Think about the tone of your flesh. Do you have tight flesh or are you flabby? A bikini top that has a narrow strap under the armpit will pull in between your flesh and, as we have mentioned, if it is sagging you will see split flesh. When it’s saggy you need to keep in mind two things: you need to exercise and get strong and you need to buy a top with a wider strap in that area. You can look at a triangle halter top in Unas1 or a bikini top; a bra shape will also pamper that area.

The all-rounder: the padded bikini top

The padded bikini top can be found in bandeau, triangle, underwired and non-underwired shapes. Almost all the forms incorporate fillings or remove them depending on the season. Pre-formed filling gives you the shape so your bust is moulded into that shape, that’s why we tend to like the padded bikini top.

The push up bikini top to the rescue

Push up is specially made for cups A, B, C or what is more colloquially known as small breasts, but D and E have been incorporated because for them the push up bikini top means an extra reinforcement.

The bikini top with push up shape has soft foam and reinforcement at the bottom to raise the bikini top so that it can be centred towards the cleavage and be more attractive.
