When summer arrives, the summer season which is usually the most awaited due to its warmth and the fun that usually accompanies it, we find ourselves with that “uncovering” moment in which we have to choose what type of swimsuit we are going to wear to be able to enjoy it, show it off and be comfortable at the same time.

The “uncovering” moment is usually a bit traumatic as the sun has not tanned our little bodies for a long time and we tend to be a bit pale.

But if we manage to find that swimsuit that flatters us we can reverse this effect and turn it into the moment when you can show yourself with a lot of desire.

Types of women’s swimwear

The swimsuit has always been thought of as a way to hide the tummy that we usually don’t like, but things have changed a few years ago, that thought has been left behind and the swimsuit for women has reached its maximum splendour and has become a symbol of elegance and sophistication as well as pure daring.

Something to take into account when buying your swimming costume is your height and weight, because even if you use a 95B with your height or weight the swimming costume will stretch and you will need more or less fabric.

Imagine a girl with a 95B who weighs 70kg and is 1.78m tall, she will need a size up, a 100B. Someone who normally wears a 95B is 50Kg and is 1.55m tall will need to order a size down, a 90B.

In order to obtain the type of swimwear for women that best suits our body, we must analyse the different necklines available to us.

T-shirt swimsuit

This is the most rejuvenating type of swimsuit.

It has a straight neckline and almost always in unas1 is accompanied by a bit of filling and it resembles the neckline of a thin strapless T-shirt.

We usually recommend it to both young and not so young women, because it tends to be flattering. It looks like that swimsuit from when you were 12 years old and you first wore a women’s swimsuit.

Within a T-shirt neckline we also find another type that has become a must during the last few months, it is the one that has a larger opening under the armpit. This would be the one you would imagine Pamela Anderson running along the beach with, total American but with a more daring touch, but you have to wear it if your chest does not exceed a D cup, neither in the case of having a B, C or D cup but your chest has fallen a lot. It is also not a good option if your nipple is very protruding.

Bandeau swimwear

The bandeau swimsuit for women is one of the favourite swimwear to sunbathe and not leave the mark of the straps so your neckline can be seen uniform and tanned in the same tone. But, remember, if a giant wave comes, if you are going to jump on water attractions or if you have a very big cup or superior to the D, the bandeau is not going to be the right one at that moment because you can make an unexpected topless at any time. Everyone has their good side and their bad side and the bandeau swimsuit is not going to be less.

Swimwear for cup sizes D to I

At this point, we have those cups that most people want and the lucky ones with large cups would like not to have.

For these cups there are underwire swimsuits, which shape the breasts, with or without filling. The fillings in this case are usually made of very soft foams so as not to add more volume and they tend to mould the shape of the breast in order to centre it more and give it more firmness and support.

Type of swimsuit to conceal your belly

The ones we recommend are usually that type of swimming costume to conceal the belly but that really works because it is not a girdle itself. We have girdle swimwear in our shop but the ones we like the most for their comfort and design are usually those with horizontal stripes. Look at the ones that have a stripe at the waist, they give the right optical effect without suffocating you. Sardà brings out this style every year.

If you want to tighten your tummy a bit, we recommend Primadonna; this brand is an expert in reducing.

And finally, this season we have the collection Kathryn by Sardà which uses a compressive fabric combined with the sobriety of black colour and a sided buckle at the waist or hips. It looks great.

Finally we have the low back neckline

Swimsuits with low back necklines tend to give that romantic and exciting air that we like to convey sometimes.

Small breasts are usually the luckiest for this type of swimwear. The support of the chest is usually helped by the back, therefore the bigger the chest the less cleavage there is usually in the back.

Sometimes Primadonna has some swimsuits with a little more back cleavage but Andres Sardà and Guess are usually the ones that give the most cleavage to these swimsuits as they only go up to B cups.

They don’t usually have filling so you have to take into account the size of the nipple again. If you have a D cup, don’t worry, we will order a D cup for you.

The swimsuit is no longer a symbol of old age, now it brings fresh air and is often synonymous with adventure.

Don’t you think so? Think about rafting… jumping down a waterfall, somersaulting off a large cliff, playing with the kids on the beach, jumping on the waves on a stormy summer day. These are not usually activities to do in a triangle or bandeau bikini as you’ll be more concerned about the swimsuit not falling down than trying to do your big jump.

And celebrities know it, that’s why we can see Pilar Rubio, Charlize Theron or Sara Carbonero with them during the last summers.

Remember, if you don’t know what size to order or you don’t know what kind of swimwear costume for women to choose, you can call us and we will be very happy to advise you.
